Benefits of Aloe Vera

Hello my Lovelies... hope you are all enjoying the nice sunny weekend we have been having, Don't you find the sun really just brightens up everyones mood and makes you so happy? So if you have been keeping up to date with my blog and social media feeds you will see I work with a company Forever Living selling Aloe Vera products. I wanted to do a post on how Aloe Vera really does help you, and the benefits it has to our bodies. People go on and say its good for you but never really pin point what it is that is good you, so I am here to bare all.

The benefits of Aloe Vera are endless and the plant has been used throughout generations dating back to the time of cleopatra days who herself used to used Aloe Vera. We hear about how Aloe is good for you and it stated making a come back in the form of some juice drinks so I wanted to share with you all the true benefits of what the Aloe Vera plant.

I was not sure how well Aloe Vera products really worked, but it wasn't until I started using them that I noticed a change in my body. I now use Aloe Vera face and body soap ever day for my face and body and my skin has defiantly thanked me. My skin is softer and clearer than before and drinking Aloe Gel has ket my energy level up throughout the day. In fact the Aloe Gel helped my so my I gave it to my granddad who is recovering from Cancer, and since then he is now up and about doing the gardening and is happier all of which are a direct effect from the Gel and he's 87 years old.

So here are the real Benefits of what Aloe Vera really does:

Detoxifying:

Aloe Vera is packed full of Amino Acids 19 to be precise and our body itself only produces 8. Our body needs around 20 in total to function at its best so I would say that is pretty good going.
The Aloe Gel also contains many different Enzymes which help break down stark, sugars and fats in our body helping with digestion.

Huge source of Vitamins:

Vitamins A,C & E - Which are all essential in fighting off free radicals in our body which can be found in things such as smoking, exhaust fumes, burning of food and fried foods. The free radicals oxidise tissues and cause damage to our body from cataracts to premature ageing. A good example is rusty metal.. thats not a great look is it?

In addition to fighting off free radicals these vitamins play other vital roles such as Vitamin C assists in wound healing and keeping bones and joints strong, Vitamin B helps prevent blood clots and fertility.

Reduced chance of Anaemia

Aloe Vera is one of the rare plants that produces Vitamin B12 which is necessary for manufacturing red blood cells. A drop in the level of Vitamin B12 will eventually lead to anaemia.

Helps burns, eczema, ache

The daily intake and use of Aloe Vera reduces the effects of burns, eczema and ache. The elements in aloe help as an anti-inflammatory to the skin and rejuvenate the skin cells improving the skins completion.

The question is how much Aloe Vera should we take, and that all depends on the person and how much they want to take.
I personally drink one shot of Forever Living Aloe Vera Gel in the morning before my breakfast and include it in my daily face routine which you can find here.

I hope this has enlightened you and has uncovered some unknowns on the Benefits of Aloe Vera, and please do browse around the link provided at the top if your interested in more products.
Let me know what Aloe products you have been using and if this has helped you.

My New Go To Face Mask!!

Finally some sunshine!!! I have been loving this sunshine we have had the last day or so. I went to my best friends baby's christening yesterday which was lovely, as the sun was shining and was such a beautiful ceremony and he just looked adorable in his outfit. Did you guys get up to anything nice over the weekend?

So today I'm going to be talking about the latest face mask that I have been trying out, as I do love a good old face mask. I do have some trouble areas on my skin which I would love to get a magic wand and just make disappear but that fairy god mother doesn't exist unfortunately. However, I have found a close match which is my Forever Living Marine Face mask.

I have used a few Face masks before and the one I blogged about before was the Glam Glow mud treatment, which I thought was very good at the time yet a little to expensive for weekly use. So I purchased the Marine Mask on a whim just to give it a go as I am loving my Aloe Vera face and body soap and makes my skin feel so soft and gentle.

When I first used it and squeezed it out of the tube, I was slightly sceptical and it was not what I was expecting as the consistency was just slightly thicker than their moisturises but I thought I'm sure it will be fine so applied an even layer all over my face but leaving out the eyes. As the product is not that thick it is really easy to apply and does not start setting straight away so you always have time to even it all out.

I left the mask on for 15-20 minutes, I know this seems like a long time but I was doing house work at the same time so there was no time wasted. As you can see from the pictures about when you have left if on for 15-20 the colour changes and goes translucent so you shouldn't be able to see it on your face, which is quite nice cause as you don't look so scary as when you normally put masks on.

When its time to task it off, I just ran some warm water and rinsed it off as I would normally with soap and It didn't take too long to take it all off and then just towel tried my face. When I chanced my skin in the mirror I was so pleased with the way it turned out, my pores had been completely reduced and my skin tone was even all over it looked as though I had BB cream on.

The ingredients to this product have such a great health benefits such as Sea Kelp packed with vitamins A and E with lots of Iron and helps prevent the loss of elasticity in the skin keeping it looking young and fresh. Also in the product is Algae which has great vitamins, keeping the skin hydrated a keeping away all the bad bacteria which we come into contact with every day.

I hope you have enjoyed this post, and do let me know which face masks have worked best for you.
