DIY Brightening dark circles

We all have hectic lives and I'm sure most of us are guilty of having a few late nights during the week. The late nights catch up on us and we can see this through our eyes of often get dark circles underneath our eyes. If only we could have late nights and not see the repercussions.

I wanted to find a way of getting rid of these dark circles at a low cost and at home so you don't need to go out and buy expensive products which sometimes don't work. So here we go:

What you will need:
  • Black Tea and Green Tea bags
  • Mug of Hot Water
  • Plate
What do we do:

Step 1: Pour hot water into your mug and put the two bag in to brew for 4-5 Minutes.
Step2: Remove the tea bags from the mug and place them onto the plate and put them in the fridge for 20 minutes.
Step 3: Remove the tea bags from the fridge and squeeze out some of the excess moisture. Then Lay down and put the tea bags over your eyes for 15-30 Minutes.
Step 4: Remove the tea bags from your eyes and rinse off your face so you are not left with any tea on your skin.

How it works:

Many of the eye treatments you buy from the shops have caffeine in them, this is due to the fact that caffeine can shrink the blood vessels around your eyes. This then leaves your eye less puffy and refreshed.

What do you think? Let me know if you give it a go.
