Lifestyle #2 | Work Hard Play Hard

Lifestyle #2 | Work Hard Play Hard

The famous words can be heard around the world, which became a popular saying around the 1980s. Im sure you have all heard of it, and sure many of you may even believe and live by this motto.

Through out my childhood and teenage years i didn't always work hard at the things i possible should have such as school and university. I trained a lot and was hanging our with my friends most of the time. Which as a teenager i a pretty normal thing to do.

My grades suffered slightly because i was slightly laid back and never took school very seriously or even how important it actually turns out to be when you leave.

Now that i have left and working i actually enjoy learning and want to learn more. I do think that school make you work for just exams and not to learn about whats going on around you past or present.

I do believe in doing what makes you happy, and when you are doing what makes you happy you thrive and become the best you can be. When you are doing what you enjoy it doesn't become work anymore so you can play just as much as work

Free Clinique Goodies

Hello Lovlies,
So Clinique are doing another one of their amazing deals, buying two items and get a bag of free products. I went in with the intention of buying just a foundation and moisturioser and came out with a bunch of amazing products. So without further ado here are the goodies i got today...

06 Pink Chocolate quad eye shadows
I have had a few of these colours previously but not in he quad palette. I do love these colours they are more neutral so they can be worn as an everyday look or even going out look. I love the size of the box it is perfect if you are on the go, or even in your small bag,

High Impact Mascara
I have not used this mascara before so it will be interesting to see how this one turns out. I will review this product and let you know how i get on in later posts.

Dramatically different moisturising lotion
I have used this moisturiser before, and i did not take to it straight away. there was something that didn't sit well with my skin. I did persevere with it and did see a change in my skin. I did carry on using my Clarin's moisturiser though as i feel that is better for my skin.

07 Super Strawberry Chubby Stick
I already have this chubby stick in bountiful Blush which is a more neutral / Brown tone to it. I love my chubby stick it is one of my staple items in my makeup back. It goes on easily and lasts for a long time. I chose this because i wanted colour on my lips but didn't want the gloss finish as my hair is always getting stuck in it. So i would highly recommend this product.

Moisture Surge CC Cream
I have never used CC Cream before so this will be a first and will review it after i have used it for a while. I have read some great reviews about CC Creams so hopefully this will turn out as good.

Liquid Facial Soap
I actually use this product already in my daily was routine. You can see my review here, but i must say i would not go back to ordinary soap now that i have this product in my life. It has totally changed my skin and works wonders.

So that is all of the products i got today, Hope it was interesting for you, Do leave comments if you have used any of these products would love to here about your experiences.

LifeStyle #1 | Dream Big and Let no one stop you!

Has anyone ever told you that you cant do something or you never been able to speak up and say your piece?

I wanted to write this post for a while as its quite personal to me, but have never really known if anyone has felt the same.

I was the youngest in my class in school as I was born to the end of August. I never really thought it had any effect on your education or personality until I started reading articles about the performance of those who were the youngest in their year. I do believe this does play a part in a young persons life from personal experience.

I was always the smiley, carefree person at school and still am to an extent. I always saw the best in every situation and took everything at face value. I never thought people would say one thing and mean another. I would always feel like ‘the kid’ at school, and never really felt like anyone would take me seriously which would sometimes make me doubt myself and think maybe I couldn’t do things. I would never believe in myself 100% until I had done it.
When decisions would be made or some kind of seriousish discussion would me discussed I would never be taken seriously and would dismiss what I had to say, so some of the time I would just agree with everyone else. This does have an effect on your outlook and the way you confront situations, as you get older.

I didn’t have a lot of confidence at school educationally and would always be so shy when it came to things such as reading out loud I would be so embarrassed, I would admire people who have the courage to do such things.  These traits are still in me today I’m not always 100% confident when I speak out or feel silly when I do. I have just learnt to have a bit more faith.

I started working at Abercrombie and Fitch in London, after a few weeks of working there I started to change. My boyfriend pointed it out to me and said I had become more confident, and I guess I did. You have to put this front on when on the shop floor a perception of happiness, don’t get me wrong I did love my job but its hard to keep a smile for that many hours. We had to greet every customer that came through so I became very confident in being able to speak to so many different people.

I spent most of my school years from the age of 7 training to be a gymnast, which turned into 18 hours a week, which you can imagine has an effect of your social life. I would not change that for the world as I have travelled around the world and met some amazing people and some of who are still my very close friends.

As I have grown and gone through different life situations and jobs I have grown as a person and grown a certain confidence and belief in myself.
I have learnt not to listen to what everyone else says, If you want to do something and believe you can go and do it. You only get one life.

Hands on the clock only turn one way! – Little Mix

I am now starting my own business and have decided to start blogging, which is a huge step for me because I have never done anything like this before and it’s a little scary.

If you feel like your not being heard or believe in yourself remember you can!! You only have one life so make it count, everyone way born an individual, you don’t have to be like everyone else, that’s boring. Only you can make things happen, and every step in your journey will take you to another place and you learn so many things its actually amazing.

So keep your chin up, Love yourself and remember to believe in who you are and what you stand for!

My First #bloggers Chat

Hello beautiful Bloggers!

So tonight I took part in my first #bbloggers chat… I had no idea what I was in for! I am so glad I joined in.. I can officially say I am now addicted.

I am generally quite a quiet shy person when I am in situations I have not really been in or if there are people are me who are more outspoken than me. When I’m in more comfortable situation I will then be slightly louder and often known to be a bit of a chatterbox aha.

Tonight I really felt like I can open up and chat to everyone, I was not sure of the response I would get as I am new to blogging but I was overwhelmed by the response.

So many people were so responsive and lovely, I am so excited about writing some more posts for you all.

Thank you to all of you who have come and checked out my blog, and followed me I really appreciate it..

I would love to hear how your first experiences were and how blogging has become a part of your life?

Benefit: Go Tropi coral

Good Morning Ladies!

So I popped to the shops and found myself in Benefit. I don't know about you but i love their packaging!!?? I am a sucker for eye catching packaging.. I came across there new lip and cheek kits… they are amazing and wanted all of them and was so difficult to make a decision.
I finally made a decision and chose the Go Tropi Coral. This consists of Chachatint, High Beam, coralista and ultra plush coralista.
I love the face that it comes with a mini instruction paper showing you how and where to out the products.. so If you are new or unsure about these products it shows you how to apply them.
I find they work so well together and easy to use. The coraltint stain is partically good as you only need a small amount and last a long time. Even when I wipe it off my hand you can still see the colour.

Go check them out and let me know what you think J
