Love Me Beauty | November Edition

Hey Guys, So firstly apologies for not post for a little while things have been a bit crazy. Hopefully things will settle down soon so I can go back to posting as normal. Hope you guys have been having a great weekend?

So today's post is about the great Love Me Beauty Box that I subscribe to every month! I have not done one of these in a while so I'm quite excited about this one. Recently Love Me Beauty went through a bit of transformation with their packaging and the way the box are chosen, and personally I love the change. They have made the selection process a lot more personal to you which I think is essential when it come to fashion and beauty as not everyone has the same style or skin types for example.

Headline Colours | £6.00

So to start with we have a great selection of nail varnishes from Headline Colours in Quicksand and Centrefold. I am going to be honest and say I had not heard of this brand until they came along in box of goodies, but I do love the colours. These colours are great for Autumn and Winter and will go with nearly any outfit.

Tender Care Protecting Balm | £7.95

I do love a lip balm, and applying lip balm is an essential part of my daily routine. I think it is so important to keep your lips hydrated so I always have my pot of vasaline handy in my handbag especially in these cold winter months where your lips start to get sore and crack. This Oriflame lip balm contains beeswax which is great for your lips and it absorbs the goodness into your lips instead of just protecting them on the outside.

Insta-Dri | £5.99

I have not worn this colour as yet because I feel it is a little to bright for winter now, I think it is more of a summer colour. I have never heard of this brand before receiving my Beauty Box so I am excited to try this out and see what it comes out like.
I like the stele of the bottle, it is not your usual shape nail varnish bottle so to me it makes it stand out a little more as a brand.

Malin + Goet Peppermint shampoo | £16

I must admit I am a creature of habit, and do not often change my shampoo or conditioner. I generally stick to my John Frieda or L'oreal Shampoo and Conditioner. They have always worked really well with my hair and sometimes when I have changed my hair has not felt the same.
I have never heard of peppermint shampoo, but will give it a go and let you guys know how I get on.

Let me know if you have tried any of these products and what you have thought.

My pick of Booties for winter

Hey Lovlies,
I hope you have all had a great week, and enjoying the run up to halloween. I have already seen lots of Halloween tutorials going up on Youtube, which look amazing.
So as it is nearing the end of October and we are heading into winter, which is one of my favourite times of the year as it is time to bring out the booties!!

Now I love boot season, and with the ankle boots now making a big stand in fashion I couldn't help myself by do some online shopping. So I have pulled together some of my findings below, I must admit it was quite a tough find this year, but I hope you like what I have picked.

The great faux suede ankle boot, with ridged sole and wrap around ankle strap. I personally do like a softer sole on the bottom on my boots, as it makes them easier to walk in and give you more grip on a wet surface. Also this boot give good protection of your ankle for good support.

These great leather ankle booties are great everyday bootie, and will go with nearly every outfit. I do like the fact that they do not have a very high heel so your feet will not hurt after wearing them for longer periods of time. What is also great is that they come in three colours black, Deep Taupe and Burgundy.

These boots are great, and I fell in love with them when I saw them. I especially love the colour, most often winter boots are always dark colours so its nice to see a lighter pair. I like the detailing of the chain around the front which give it a more dressy look, and also whats great is these come in two colours the cream colour and a rustic black colour.

Kurt Geiger are by far one of my favourite shoes brands, and especially for boots. I personally have had a pair of boots from here for two years now and are still in brand new condition. So when I saw these booties I had to share them with you all.
I am defiantly attracted to the smallish heel so they are booties that you could wear for long periods of time, and they still look smart so would go very well with a pair or denim/black jeans.

What do you think, and which are your favourite boots?

Frank Body Scrub

Frank Body Scrub

Frank Body Scrub | £11.95

Hey Guys!
I hope you all have had a great week, now its sunday I feel like this week has flown by!
So last week I did a post on the Glam Glow Cleansing Face Mask, so this week I thought I would give you a great way to cleanse the rest of your body with Frank Body Scrub.

I love finding new ways to exfoliate my body, as I love that fresh soft feeling it leaves you with after. As I was going through my Instagram feed I saw this Frank Body Scrub being used, and straight away I knew I had to give it a go. So I  went to their website and instantly loved the site, it is quite girly which is probably why I like it so much. Also the way the site is set out is so simple and easy to use, and the language in which the descriptions and captions are written makes you feel as though it is Frank who is actually talking to you.

There are three packages to choose from the Original, Coconut & Grapeseed and Cadao. Each of these packages will target Cellulite, Stretch Marks and other skin conditions but they just contain slightly different ingredients, so it is a good idea to have a quick read of each to see what the differences are to suit you. I chose the original package so that if I liked it enough I would then buy the others.

Frank Body Scrub

I love the packaging that it comes with as you wouldn't get this in your normal drug store like Boots or Superdrug. Whats also good is that there is a protective seal inside, so that once you have opened it you can seal it back up so the ingredients always stay fresh. When I opened the bag, I was instantly hit with the coffee/orange smell and looking inside to bag, it looks like it is ground coffee but there is so much inside. So I would say that it is defiantly worth the money as you would get a lot of use out of it.

Frank Body Scrub

Now is the interesting part, actually using the Frank Body Scrub. Applying the scrub was interesting, as it is the consistency of loose powder it can be tricky to put onto some parts of your body but then thats the whole fun of it. I did manage to make a bit of a mess in my bathroom (oops!) so it is a good idea to get small amounts out at a time so you don't waste too much. After applying it all to my body I left it on for around 5 minutes, and then washed it off. It did take a while to get off my body but could defiantly feel the difference. My skin felt so soft when I had dried off and my skin also felt just as soft for a good few days after.

If you have used Frank Body Scrub original or any of the other varieties please?

Glamglow Super Mud Cleaning Treatment

Glamglow Super mud cleaning treatment

Hey Guys,
Hope everyone is having a great weekend, I can't believe we are already in October. This year has gone so quickly and a little scary that christmas is just around the corner. I am quite looking forward to the winter months now, bringing out all the wooly jumpers, and I even saw a few girls with some gorgeous  winter hats on. So as summer is leaving us and change of weather what better time to introduce you to one of my favourite face masks called Glamglow Super Mud Cleaning Treatment.

I first saw this product being reviewed by one of my favourite bloggers Nicole Guerriero, I love her videos they are great and she has such a amazing bubbly personality. So I knew my skin needed a bit of kick start so I bought myself the Glamglow cleaning treatment, to give my skin a really good deep clean. I was a little apprehensive at first being that I paid £45 which looks like a very small pot.... but... it was well worth the money.

As I opened the box, which has great packaging it comes with a colourful leaflet of all the ingredients which is great as its always good to know what you are putting on your skin after all. In the middle of the box then appears my little pot of product.

Glamglow Super mud cleaning treatment

To apply the product, I washed my face to make sure there was no excess dirt on my skin and then dried it off with a towel. I then scooped out my first bit of product and put it on my face, the product itself is quite thick and spreads smoothly so a little goes a long way. As I was applying the Glamglow to my face I could see it drying very quickly. I left the Glamglow product on for around 10 minutes and could feel my face getting harder which it is the product drying out.

When my 10 minutes was up, I had a look at my face and I could see areas of my face which were not as good as others so could really see how well the Glamglow product was working. I washed the product off with warm water, it took a little while to get it all off as it really sticks to your face. After rinsing it all off and drying my face, I

put on my normal Clarins moisturiser and my skin felt amazing. The glamglow mud really cleared out my skin and made it feel so soft to touch.

I will defiantly be buying more of these products as they are worth it.

Have you tried any Glamglow products? I would love to hear your experiences.

Switching life up!

Hey Guys,
So as you may have noticed I have not been posting much recently, mostly because I had a lot going on and partly because my heart wasn't into things so much I was not feeling motivated to get up and get things done. So I took some time out for myself to try and get that motivation back, I had booked a holiday so was the perfect timing really to get some perspective on life.

I have always known what I have wanted in life, but sometimes daily life can begin to drain you of the 'Bigger Picture', and seeing what is beyond that day, week or even month. When I start to get these feelings I know its time to pull myself back and take some time out for myself to re-evaluate and that is what I have done.

I started reading this amazing book called The 1% Principle, and it totally changed my way of thinking. It talks about taking 1% out of your day to do something different, and something for yourself to improve on yourself. By using this principle of 1% it does not take a lot of time or effort, but when doing it every day it real makes a difference and then becomes habit.

So I sat down and scribbled down the parts of my life I wanted to improve upon and what I wanted out from life. I then bought a book and wrote these down on the front page so that I had a vision of what I wanted to do and where I want to go in my life. I wrote things down such as keeping up with my blog, Learning Greek (because I am 1/2 Greek), Starting my own business, reading more books, these are a few but you get the idea.

So every day I will be writing my achievements I have done that day over the course of a year, then after that year i will be reassessing where I am in my life and see what I have achieved. I will do updates and certain times in the year to keep you guys up to date, if you want to hear about them?!

I hope this inspires some of you to maybe motivate yourself to maybe start something you have been meaning to start, If it has please do let me know I would love to hear your stories.

Catch up soon

French Connection Purchase

Hey Lovies, So it was my Birthday last weekend and thought I would show you a couple of the pieces that I managed to get from French Connection. I love shopping in French Connection when the budget allows of course. There clothes are always so stylist and on point, also I love the way I can wear them to work and outside work makes my life a little easier. My mum has even made friend with some of the sales assistants she goes in there so often, not sure if thats a good or bad thing?

So first up it my trusty leather jacket, called Riot Stretch Cropped Jacket at a rather reasonable price of £89, there are others in store which are far more expensive. I just fell in love with this jacket the minute I saw it, with the detailing not only on the front but also the back. I needed a smart leather jacket and this was perfect.

Next up is this gorgeous Ziggy Sleeveless Jacket, the minute I tried this jacket on I fell in love. I had jeans on and a white T shirt on at the time and it went very well with that. It gives something different to an outfit I think than just a normal jacket, personal it says Victoria Beckham to me. I would pair this with white jeans and a plain top, or even a dress there are so many ways it can be worn.

Anyways I hope you like my new items and maybe even purchase one yourself.

So Susan Flutter Mascara | RRP £14.96

This mascara has just recently been introduced to the So Susan product range, it is carbon black for that dramatic black lash. The bristles are extra stiff to help separate your lashes enabling you to achieve that volumised look.
I love the packaging of this mascara with the bird on the handle, and also when you open the mascara it actually smells nice. It does not have that 'mascara' smell if you know what i'm talking about.

love me beauty box

Ofra Eyeliner in 'Black' | RRP £7.60

This eye liner has been a great addition to this months box, It water resistant which is always helpful when lining the waterline of your eyes so it won't smudge. It has a synthetic beeswax base so it goes onto your lids really smooth and easy and won't get that 'pulling' feeling which can happen with some liners.

love me beauty box

Ofra Eye Shadow in 'Gold Rush' | RRP £8.80

This Gold Rush colour is from Ofra's 'Diamons are Forever' Palette collection. I do really like this colour and have been meaning to get a gold colour for Autumn and can defiantly see this being used a lot. I have olive skin so i need to apply a bit more to make it really pop but the colour is beautiful and has such great pigmentation.

So Susan Dual Brow Powder | RRP £11.95

I have never really owned specific eye brow powder myself I have always used my eye shadow for a natural look, so I'm excited to be adding this product to my makeup bag. The two colours are for generally darker eye brows but it also is infused with Aloe extract and Carrot Seed Oil to nourish the sensitive areas around the eye.

love me beauty box

Lashem | RRP £40 (For full 3.5ml)

I don't generally use mascara during the day so that my lashes can breathe and not getting pulled around so much when i remove it. This Lashem serum will be a great addition to my daily routine to gel nourish them, meaning I will be able to wear mascara that little bit more

love me beauty box

The Teashed Skinny Tea Teabags | RRP £3.50

I am excited to try these Green Tea bags, as I love the bags which are not like your every day tea bags  because they are pyramid silky bags ( can you tell I'm a sucker for packaging?).

Green Goddess Smoothie

So this is a new kind of post which I have not done before, but as i have going a bit of a health kick i wanted to share it with you.
So I bought myself a Breville Smoothie maker from Tesco which has proved to be one of the best kitchen appliances which I don't think i could live without now. I bundle a load of fruits and veg inside, turn it on and your smoothie is make and it just the right amount for one serving.
What is also great about this product is that once you have done with blending you take the capsule off the appliance and it is the your drinking container and comes with a lid. Perfect for people who are on the go like myself.

I have been looking around for some recipes and can be hard to find what you are looking for and then found some fantastic ingredients and bundled them all in and now call it The Green Goddess. I know it doesn't look like the nicest drink but they never do but i can promise you it takes very nice.

So without further ado here are the ingredients i used:

  •  A bunch of Kale Leaves
  • A bunch of spinach leaves
  • 1 cup of coconut water
  • 1/2 Cup of blueberries
  • 1 teaspoon of flaxseeds
  • 1 teaspoon of chia seeds
  • 1 teaspoon spirulina powder

The benefits of this drinks that it alkalises the body, strengthens the immune system and provides you with energy.

Hope you give this a go and if you do please do let me know.

Bubble Tea Cosmetics Review

Hey Beautiful People....
So I was approached by Bubble Cosmetics to try some of their new products. As you could probably guess by the name they sell bath products to make you not only smell good but feel good.
I was immediately interested as I don't often venture past my trusty Radox, so I though I would give it a go.

I received my package in the post a few days later and was happy to see they had sent me two samples, not only that they were of retail size. Normally when samples go out they are a small version as they don't cost so much. I was instantly impressed with this and felt that they cared about their customers.

Bubble Tea Cosmetics

Bubble Tea Cosmetics

The two products I received were the Lemon Grass and Green Tea Bath Bomb and the hibiscus & Acai Berry Tea shower Gel. I was glad to have two different kind of products to try from their range to give me an insight to what the products are truly like.

Bubble Tea Cosmetics

So bath time it was and had to make the difficult decision of which product to choose first. I went for the Lemon Grass bath bomb as I had never tried a bath bomb before. I filled my bath up slightly then through the bath bomb in. As I opened the pack I got this amazing scent of Lemon Grass and Green Tea but was not over powering. I left the bath bomb to dissolve in the water and my bathroom was filled with this relaxing smell. As the colour was a very pale yellow it did not turn the colour of my water too much which was nice but was just left with the scents. The scent however did not last for too long about 15 minutes.

The next product to try was the shower gel, the minute I poured the gel into my hand the strong scent of berry is just amazing. I only put a small amount on in my hand but that is all you need as it goes along way. The texture is smooth and leaves your skin feeling refreshed and light. After my shower and was all dry my skin felt refreshed and still smelt amazing.

Hope you enjoyed this post and has inspired you to go and get some products for yourself. Please let me know if you have tried any of these products yourself and what you thought of them.

New Adventures becoming a Pilates Teacher

Hello my beauties!!!
Hope your all having a fabulous week isn't it going so fast, its Thursday already!! Bring on the weekend!!!

So as many of you know I am a gymnast and have been for many years so i do like to keep fit and active. I have been looking up Yoga and Pilates classes and was not sure what all the fuss was about. I have read so many fantastic reviews and always like to throw myself into something new that i signed up to train as a Pilates instructor. I am so excited to start this new journey and can't wait to share it all with you.

So what is Pilates?
Pilates has been going for a very long time and was developed by Joseph Pilates. It composes of 6 main principles being Centering, Control, Flow, Breath, Precision and concentration. Pilates emphasises quality over quantity so it not about how many repetitions you do but how well you do them.

What difference to Yoga?
Many people think that Pilates and Yoga are roughly the same thing but there are some differences. Pilate’s moves are not held for such long periods and involve more lying, sitting and kneeling moves.
Pilates moves use resistance and concentration on breathing in the rib cage so the chest, sides and back expand on inhalation but the waist does not.
A mat-work Pilate’s session will burn slightly more calories than a yoga class, by virtue of a faster pace and the use of weighted resistance.

MAC Makeup Brushes

Hello Hello,
How are you beautiful people? just firstly wanted to apologise for my absence over the past few weeks, it has been super crazy and busy so have not had any time to sit and write anything and was feeling slightly over whelmed with everything that was going on... But I'm back now and excited to share this new post with you all.

Last Christmas (which i know was a while ago now) i was lucky enough to be given the MAC SE brush kit which was on special just for christmas. I am such a sucker for nice packaging and my things looking pristine that admittedly i hadn't used them of a quite a while as they looked so perfect. I am not sure if any of you are like this at all by any chance?

MAC SE Brushes

To start with the packaging is great, simple black and white with a dash of gold. The packaging for the box is just the same which i like as the theme is consistent through out. When i open the zip you can see the beautiful silk lining. I was surprised that the pouch does not open all the way and flat.

MAC SE Brushes

MAC SE Brushes

There are five brushes which come in this set:

MAC 214SE - This is a short and rounded brush with soft and natural bristles. It is used to line your eyes and also to smudge any harsh lines if you were going for a smokey look for example. The MAC 214SE is also very good to packing lots of shadow onto the lid.

MAC 266SE - This is a fantastic brush, the bristles have been put in place precisely for this angled edge to make it easy to apply any eye liner. I use this with either powder if i am going for a soft look or with my gel liner if i want to make a defined line.

MAC 219SE - This brush is shaped with a pencil like edge. This is great for packing shadow into the crease for a precise application. You can also use it to line your last line if you were going for that softer more blended look.

MAC 211SE - I have never really used a lip brush previously as i would just apply my lip colour straight onto my lips. This is a great little handy brush to have when packing lots of colour onto your lips.

MAC 227SE -  This is a great extra large paddle brush, with a fluffy round top. You can use it for your eyes or your face. It is very good for applying highlighter or blending and powdered base products.

I hope you liked my review and please let me know if you have any of these and what you think in comments below.

Clarins Multi Active Day Cream

Clarins Multi Active Day Cream

Clarins Multi Active Day Cream

So its that time of the month again where i run out of moisturiser. I have tried a few moisturisers but this time I'm going back to my Clarins Multi Active Day Cream. Moisturiser is such an important part of your daily face routine so buying a good cream is essential.

I do favour this cream mostly because a little goes along way. The texture of the cream is thick and rich so you only need a small amount which makes the tub last longer. I dab small amounts of the cream onto my forehead, cheeks, chin and nose and then rub in gently always remembering to avoid your eyes. I find this moisturise lasts me all day and never leaves me with dry skin. It also is a very good base for my makeup which is always helpful.

The packaging of the cream i do really like the glass tub with a white lid is very simple but classy and  fits in well with my bathroom as it is mostly white.

Life Update!

Hello all you lovely people,

So just a bit of a life update as I'm sure you have noticed i have not posted for a while.
It has been a crazy few weeks and i have not stopped and had a chance to catch up.

To start with my contract finished at work so was going through a transition period of changing jobs which meant going for interviews and prepping which took so much of my time.
I then secured a role which was fantastic news and am very happy, so i jetted off to Greece to see some family. If you follow my on Instagram you would have seen some of my holiday posts.
The days away were amazing and loved spending time with family to really relax.

I then came back and my parents went away for 10 days so was left to look after the house. It was a crazy 10 days with looking after the house, fiancĂ© and starting a new job. Adjusting took some getting used to as i have never been left with the house before. I loved every minute of it and now have the itch to move out and get my own place.

I have also been feeling so unmotivated so wasn't sure what to do. So i have decided to write a life plan along with a bucket list. I am feeling slightly more motivated now and getting back into the swing of things but is just taking some time.
Once i have completed my Bucket List i will defiantly be doing a post about it and take you though my experiences. I am really excited about the journeys to come and hope you all stick along for the ride.

Have you started a Bucket List or written a Life plan i would love to hear your experiences and any motivation tips you may have. :)
